My professional journey so far...

Having completed a Bachelor Degree in Journalism with a Marketing Major from Bond University, I spent two years researching, understanding, and applying industry standards. I successfully completed two internships within this time; the first at 'The Gold Coast Bulletin' and the second at 'The Gold Coast Film Festival'.

My degree and internship experiences taught me invaluable lessons of industry standards, connected me to incredible mentors and professionals, and sparked a strong passion for the art of communication.

After university I planned an ill-fated gap year that coincided with the global pandemic. However, this series of events led me to secure a senior role at Gold Coast Cafe Paddock Bakery, where I spent over a year managing a hospitality team of 40+ people in a 300 seat venue. This role was integral in strengthening my my management and coordination skills.

From Paddock, I landed my first Industry role at Balter Brewing as Marketing Assistant. Within 8 months, I was promoted to Marketing Coordinator. Throughout my time at Balter I have worked alongside an incredible team of creatives. Within my role I managed a successful e-commerce store, coordinated brand activations and events, delivered exceptional customer experience across all channels, and helped to execute engaging digital content & campaigns.

The multi-faceted nature of my role at Balter - one of Australia's leading Craft Breweries - meant that I was constantly presented with new opportunities to develop my professional skill-set. Whether it be; community activations & sponsorships, company PR, or SEO/google analytics/digital marketing strategy.
